Services

Ambulatory Surgery

  • Minor procedures that allow patients to go home immediately after the procedure (i.e, removal of soft tissue masses, needle biopsies)

 

Breast Surgery

  • For all benign (non-cancerous i.e. cysts, fibroadenoma) and malignant (cancerous i.e. breast cancer) problems of the breast
  • Minimally invasive procedures – use small incisions that can biopsy and/or remove breast masses under ultrasound guidance
  • For Breast Cancer:
    • Preservation of the breast with minimal manipulation of the lymph nodes
    • Traditional surgeries such as mastectomies
  • Oncoplastic procedures: Can offer surgeries that produce acceptable scars and breast shape both for non-cancerous and cancerous breast lesions

 

Colorectal Surgery

  • For all benign (non-cancerous, i.e. hemorrhoids, fistula) and malignant (cancerous, i.e. Colon Cancer) problems of the large intestines, rectum & anus
  • Minimally invasive procedures – uses small incisions that can biopsy and/or remove intestinal and rectal masses
  • Non-surgical options for hemorrhoids
  • Colonoscopy

 

Hepatobillary & Pancreatic Surgery

  • For all benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) problems of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas and adjacent organs

 

Head and Neck Surgical Oncology

  • For all benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) problems of head and neck such as the thyroid, salivary glands, tonsils, oral cavity, vocal cords, neck and lymph nodes (exception: brain, eyes and ear)
  • Chemotherapy for head and neck cancer patients when indicated
  • Minimally invasive procedures – uses small incisions that can biopsy and/or remove thyroid masses (endoscopic thyroidectomy)

 

Minimally Invasive Surgery

  • Laparoscopic techniques (small incisions under video guidance) for all types of  surgery of the abdomen, notably the gallbladder, appendix and hernias
  • Is proven to be cost-effective, with less post-operative pain and faster return to normal daily activities

 

Pediatric Surgery

  • For all surgical conditions concerning neonates, infants and adolescents such as: abdominal wall defects (i.e. gastroschisis, omphalocoele), anorectal diseases (i.e. imperforate anus) genitourinary defects (i.e. hernias, undescended testes), intestinal obstruction and minor to severe traumatic injuries due to accidents.
  • Endoscopic procedures (esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy) specifically for children

  • In-depth understanding, experience & competence in the surgical management involving the Thyroid, Breast, Gastrointestinal Tract, Liver, Gallbladder, Pancreas and Soft Tissue Tumors
  • Neoadjuvant and Adjuvant Chemotherapy & Hormonal Treatment for Breast and Colon Cancers

 

Surgical Wound Care

  • Adapts the latest techniques in surgical wounds such as ulcers and operative sites

 

Upper Gastrointestinal and Surgical Endoscopy

  • For conditions involving the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract (i.e. esophagus, stomach, duodenum).
  • Endoscopic procedures (esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), colonoscopy) for adults
